Grants Program Coming Soon!

Women On The Move is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that assists women and women-owned businesses in times of need.  We invite you to explore Women On The Move through our site pages, to get a feel for who we are and what we do.  Take a moment to meet our board of directors, and soon, you will get to meet some of the women WOTM has helped through our grant programs.  We intend to Inspire, Educate, and Assist.  In highlighting the positive aspects of being a woman, this organization seeks to promote the sense of “paying forward” with knowledge, experience, and the necessary funds to help our sisters achieve their goals in life.  Through networking, fund raising, and donations, we will help as many women as we can.  There will be no set time frame for applying for our grant programs.  The programs will be on-going as needed, and as available funds allow.   We currently have two grant programs.  One for women-owned businesses, and one for emergency situations.  The criteria for both are listed below:

Women-owned businesses after submitting letter of intent to apply:

Proof that business is at least 51% owned by a woman(Articles Of Incorporation, Bylaws, etc.).
 
Proof that funds were unobtainable by traditional sources, i.e. banks, lending institutions (denial letters).

Proof of business tax returns for the last three years,
if not in business that long, personal tax returns for the same time frame.

Viable Business Plan

Affidavit of what funds will be used for.

Complete application.

 Business-related grants will range from $500 to $5,000 dollars.

Women In Emergency Situations: 

Proof of emergency/what funds will be used for.

Proof of unavailable funds.      

Proof of employment/seeking employment.

Proof of application to community-based agencies

Complete application.

 Emergency related grants will range from $500 to $1500 dollars.

Please provide as much information about your case as possible, along with contact information. 
Once that information has been screened, you will be contacted by our grants coordinator with further 
instructions and the actual application, so make sure to provide up to date contact information.

Women On The Move has developed grant programs that benefit  Women and Women-Owned Businesses.

Donations are accepted and appreciated.
